Julia Lemoncello PT, DPT

Julie has focused her clinical practice in orthopedic physical therapy with additional education and training in the treatment of neck and back pain. As a long-distance runner, she has particular interest in the prevention and treatment of running injuries.

Physical therapy is my passion, offering the rewarding opportunity to facilitate healing and optimize health and function. I strive to create individualized, goal-driven programs to allow my patients to reach their highest potential.

Julie has gained experience in both neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation with extensive study and hands-on training in the management of spine pathology through the Phoenix Manual Therapy Long Term Course. She is also certified to perform functional capacity evaluations, an integral part of the return-to-work process. Julie has served as a mentor for physical therapy interns and is a credentialed clinical instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and running in the great outdoors here in Flagstaff. Julie recently competed in her first marathon, finishing with a time of 2:59:22.

Credentials:

  • Certified in the Gratson Technique - Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). The Gratson Technique enables clinicians to effectively address scar tissue and fascial restrictions and maintain optimal range of motion in their patients through comprehensive training and education.
